Jelosomi Art Centre invites young artists aged 6 - 18 to take part in Gravesham Black History Month 2026.

We are looking from young creatives to share artwork inspired by Nigerian, African, Caribbean or their own cultural experiences, identity, heritage and community.

All styles and abilities are welcome:  Painting, Drawing, Photography, Digital Art, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Textiles

Whether you are an emerging artist or simply love creating, we want to see your work.

Be proud.  Be creative.  Be heard.

Be part of Black History Month 2026.

Open to young people from Gravesham and surrounding areas with applications welcome from further afield.
