St George’s Arts Centre, St George’s Shopping Centre, Gravesend

Join us at the St George’s Arts Centre this January for a vibrant exhibition celebrating the theme of Light and Life, which also forms part of the Gravesham Light Festival 2026.

Responding to an open call artist brief, creatives were invited to submit work that explores the connection between light and life - whether through nature, human experience, community, memory, or resilience.

From the first spark of daybreak to the warmth of human connection, light is a universal symbol of hope, clarity, and transformation. It reveals not just the world around us, but also our inner lives.

The exhibition runs from Saturday 3rd January – Sunday 1st February 2026.
