St George’s Arts Centre, Gravesend

Discover Christmas through the ages this December as we travel back in time from Medieval Britain to present day in our exciting festive exhibition ‘Unwrapping the Past’.

Featuring vintage decorations, toys, photographs and more, join us at the St George’s Arts Centre to learn more about the history of some of our festive traditions, including the origins of the mince pie, and what it means to wassail!

This free self-guided walk-through exhibition runs in-between our ticketed family interactive experience ‘Keepers of the Christmas Magic’, so will therefore only be open on select dates and times between Thursday 10th – Thursday 24th December.
