Audience Choice Austen (Pride & Prejudice or Emma)

St Mary's, Church St, Higham, Nr Rochester, ME3 7LS

It is a truth universally acknowledged... That the audience is always right!

This Summer, to celebrate Jane Austen's 250th anniversary year, we are hitting the road with productions of both Emma and Pride & Prejudice. But which will you choose?

That's right. Ahead of each show we will ask our audience to show, by way of applause, their preference for either Pride & Prejudice or Emma.

Elizabeth Bennet or Emma Woodhouse? Longbourn or Hartfield? Mr Darcy or Mr Knightley?

You decide!
Whichever show you choose you can expect a stunning one-act adaptation of one of Austen's most treasured works packed with rivalries, regrets and, of course, plenty of romance!

Written by Jane Austen
Directed by Sarah Slator & Chloe Bond
Adapted by Ethan Taylor
