Join a fun, creative family workshop led by local poet Jen Elvy, designed to get imaginations flowing and words working together.

Using poems from Jen’s book, The Perfect Prompt, families will explore playful and thought-provoking ways to create their own poetry. Through simple prompts, shared ideas, and collaborative writing, this workshop encourages children and adults to experiment with language, build stories together, and discover that poetry can be accessible, surprising, and fun.

No experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to play with words. A relaxed, welcoming session where families can create something unique together and take home their own mini collection of ideas and poems.
