Turntable Tales is Gravesend’s long running social record playing night at No.84, Echo Sq.
The idea is simple: bring along 2-3 selections that fit our monthly theme, all on vinyl, and a short anecdote to explain your choices.
No DJ skills are required and everyone gets a play. BYO booze and get to meet some new friends. Vegetarian food available.

November’s theme is ‘Redemption’. This month we will absolve your sins. Did you do something when you were younger that you were specifically told not to? Or perhaps it happened more recently? Ever got out of bed the wrong side and taken your bad self to work? If you’re brave enough to admit the error of your ways and play us a befitting song then we’re confident our guest audience will judge you kindly. So come along for the evening armed with regrets, confessions and vinyl records. If all goes well we’ll be able to lift the burden from your shoulders.
