Holy Moly featuring Richard Allen

The Mole Hole Micro Pub 17 High Street, Gravesend, DA11 0BA UK

Spoken Word Open Mic Night - Third Sunday of every month

March's Holy Moly welcomes Richard Allen as our headliner! Richard is a whirlwind of wordplay, blending social commentary and wit in an impressive melange of surreal flavours. Plus our regular open mic, now with actual microphone! Sign up on the night to perform your own work, be it poetry, spoken word, short story or anything else. Performances finish at 9, bar open until 10 thanks to our kind hosts at the Mole Hole.

Here's Richard in his own words, which for other performers might be a little much but for him it's actually all quite accurate:
"Writer-ranter singer-strummer works poetic comic folk-punk poke-funk hip-hop techno music-hall mash-up tongue twist rhythm rhyme genius profound profanity profane profundity will make you laugh think think laugh laugh think again. John Hegley meets John Cooper Clarke, gets drunk with Dr Suess and
vomits through T. S. Eliot's letterbox."

Holy Moly is free to attend but you can support us with an optional ticket.
