St George’s Arts Centre, Gravesend
This year we are looking to hold two Autumn themed workshops in the October half-term, and we’re therefore looking for facilitators on the following dates (times to be agreed):
· Tuesday 27th October 2026
· Thursday 29th October 2026
General Workshop Information
The workshops will take place in the workshop area of the café at the St George’s Arts Centre, Gravesend.
Workshops should last approx. 1.5 hours.
There will be a maximum of 10 participants per workshop, and we request that all children aged 12 and under are accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the session.
We are looking to choose one workshop which is suitable for ages 4+ and the other suitable for ages 8+. Please advise on your submission which age range the workshop is suitable for.
Ideally workshops should be suitable for anyone (within the advised age range) and therefore have an easier and more technical version of the craft to cater for different ages and abilities.
We ask that you arrive in time to set up and be ready before participants arrive, and you will also be expected to clean and tidy away after the workshop has finished.
Proposals
We are open to suggestions for the actual craft/content of the workshops but would like it to be family arts and crafts based around the theme of Autumn.
If you would like to apply to facilitate one or both of the above workshops, please send your proposal(s) to artsandculture@gravesham.gov.uk with the following information:
· Description of workshop
· Material costs and list
· Age ranges the workshop is suitable for
· Images if possible
· Short bio of your previous work/experience (only if you haven’t worked with us before)
· Availability and time preference (either 11am – 12.30pm, or 1pm – 2.30pm)
The information can be within the body of the email itself or a separate Word or PDF document.
Please do not send your proposals to individual members of staff.
