Open Northfleet

CALL OUT for artists and illustrators from Gravesham to contribute to CROSS-CURRENTS.

Submit an idea for a minute long animation for the chance to have your work featured in a multimedia projected art installation.

Your work will be presented with an original backing track, poems by local artists, and visuals by other animators and filmmakers, creating an immersive artwork that brings together voice, sound and moving image.

CROSS-CURRENTS is inspired by the many stories flowing through our community. The theme is open to interpretation- could be about your town, home, belonging, identity, memories, personal experiences, community, or the people and places that have shaped you. We're interested in hearing the different narratives that make up Gravesham.

The installation will form part of the Open Northfleet programme of events coming to Northfleet.

Must be 18+ to apply

If you are successful you will have four sessions with an animator who will guide you on how best to animate your piece.
